Established in 2005 in Oakland Gardens, Queens, Groomurrs offers a full-service Barbershop with services exclusively for men and boys by licensed master barbers. We offer a full suite of grooming services including haircuts, beard trims, fades and touch ups, body waxing, massages and more. In addition, we sell top of the line haircare products and merchandise as well. We also offer nail salon services, including pedicures and manicures. Alex Murr

At the age of 17, the young Alex Murr decided to enroll into Atlas Barber School. He was eager to learn the craft and perfect the skill. Six years later, the young Alex had a dream to change the world one haircut at a time. In 2005 he decided to open Alex’s Barber Shop on Springfield blvd. One by one people lined up to see the new shop. Thankfully they fell in love, making the new business a success.

But 15 years later he wanted more. He decided to rename, expand, and open a larger shop a few doors down. But he wanted to not only transform hair, he wanted to transform the entire look. He added facials, manicures, pedicures, hair units, massages, and waxing to the list of services. Grooming men to not only look good but feel good. Alex and his team work effortlessly to make sure that each visit to groomurrs is nothing but perfection.
